AbleIT Stepped In
In 2001 Hitachi, Ltd. and Babcock-Hitachi K.K. were contracted by EPCOR Power Development Corporation of Alberta, Canada to oversee the engineering and construction of the multi-million dollar Genesee Power Generating Station Phase 3, a 495-MW-capacity coal-fired power plant that become operational in January 2005.
During construction, I became more and more unsatisfied with the performance of our existing IT Service provider. They were unable to respond within a reasonable time frame and when they did respond; their staff appeared unprofessional and lacked the knowledge to competently handle our IT issues. Therefore on March 1, 2004 we hired AbleIT.
AbleIT stepped in and immediately addressed issues left unresolved by the previous provider. From that moment on they effectively responded to all requests made by myself and my employees in a timely manner. They offered us a wide range of cost effective IT support services and were able to successfully fulfill the very demanding computer and networking needs of this project.
I would like to especially thank Mr. Desi Chu the AbleIT technician assigned to the project. He is a very skilled professional and demonstrated great patience when dealing with issues making it possible to bridge the communication gap between our Japanese speaking employees and the English speaking IT support staff.
I would definitely use AbleIT to support other Hitachi projects in the future as well I would strongly recommend Able Automation to other companies looking for a single source of IT support for their large construction projects.
